Abstract

The transient model of 3-phase diode bridge rectifiers is developed, and the implementation of the operation analytical equations is carried out, by means of a switching functions Park formulation. A few examples show effectiveness and usefulness of the adopted approach: at first, a 6-pulse bridge rectifier is examined; later, a 12-pulse system is studied, both with series and parallel connected bridges.
