This paper describes an efficient technique for simulating the huge and mildly-nonlinear thermal networks modeling thermal dynamics in modern integrated systems. The method exploits a special semi-implicit integration technique that allows avoiding the refactorization of Jacobian matrix over a large number of time steps. In the paper a proper implementation of the method is described.

Abstract
This paper describes an efficient technique for simulating the huge and mildly-nonlinear thermal networks modeling thermal dynamics in modern integrated systems. The method exploits a special semi-implicit integration technique that allows avoiding the refactorization of Jacobian matrix over a large number of time steps. In the paper a proper implementation of the method is described.File in questo prodotto:
