Abstract

Universities increasingly maintain partnerships with corporations embedded in defence and security industries, yet these relationships often remain opaque to the communities they shape. In the context of documented human rights violations in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territory, such entanglements raise questions of institutional responsibility. This Situated Action mobilises participatory and information design methods to reconstruct and visualise university–industry relations at Politecnico di Milano. Drawing on publicly available digital traces, the project assembles an evidence-based dataset and translates it into a participatory mapping installation during PDC26, enabling attendees to collectively examine and discuss institutional ties.
