What will small and remote places in Europe look like in 2100? How can culture and creativity support their transformation and contribute to building better lives? Human Cities/SMOTIES—Creative works with small and remote places is a four-year project, started in 2020, and co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. The SMOTIES Toolbox aims to guide project experts through a process of co-designing public spaces. It has already been prototyped in remote places in ten European countries and has been tested in four higher education programmes. This book can help to build a better Europe by supporting change through culture-led regeneration and stimulate diverse creative activities to foster the economic and social transformation of local ecosystems.

Abstract
What will small and remote places in Europe look like in 2100? How can culture and creativity support their transformation and contribute to building better lives? Human Cities/SMOTIES—Creative works with small and remote places is a four-year project, started in 2020, and co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. The SMOTIES Toolbox aims to guide project experts through a process of co-designing public spaces. It has already been prototyped in remote places in ten European countries and has been tested in four higher education programmes. This book can help to build a better Europe by supporting change through culture-led regeneration and stimulate diverse creative activities to foster the economic and social transformation of local ecosystems.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
