Product-Service Systems (PSS) are systems in which companies propose physical products and services optimized and integrated from a lifecycle perspective. PSS is often considered a viable path to achieve sustainability and circular economy, extending lifecycle of products, better exploiting resources, and reducing waste production. LCA is a promising methodology to assess environmental impact of PSS configurations. Nonetheless literature identifies in the implementation of LCA for PSS difficulties and challenges. To improve the understanding of the subject, this paper carries out a systematic literature review. This paper wants to offer an analysis of the main challenges and possible solutions highlighted in literature.

Abstract
Product-Service Systems (PSS) are systems in which companies propose physical products and services optimized and integrated from a lifecycle perspective. PSS is often considered a viable path to achieve sustainability and circular economy, extending lifecycle of products, better exploiting resources, and reducing waste production. LCA is a promising methodology to assess environmental impact of PSS configurations. Nonetheless literature identifies in the implementation of LCA for PSS difficulties and challenges. To improve the understanding of the subject, this paper carries out a systematic literature review. This paper wants to offer an analysis of the main challenges and possible solutions highlighted in literature.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
