The joint use of thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) provides a quick and cost-effective analytical tool for the separation and identification of single molecules of interest in several application fields. The crowding in the SERS spectra that may result from samples formed by complex mixtures is very effectively solved by the capability of TLC of separating on different spots on the plate the various molecular components.

Abstract
The joint use of thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) provides a quick and cost-effective analytical tool for the separation and identification of single molecules of interest in several application fields. The crowding in the SERS spectra that may result from samples formed by complex mixtures is very effectively solved by the capability of TLC of separating on different spots on the plate the various molecular components.File in questo prodotto:
