The paper deals with the energy dissipation, due to seismic excitations, by electro-inductive devices. The aim of the research project, currently in progress, is to investigate the potentiality and the applicability of electro-inductive dissipators in passive, semi-active and eventually active con-trol systems for civil structures protection.
