In this paper an insight into the problem of the dependence of the tensile constitutive behavior of HPFRCCs on the flow induced orientation of fibers will be provided. To this purpose a dedicated set of experimental tests, recently performed according to a novel testing technique, named Double Edge Wedge Splitting test, proposed by the authors, will be numerically modeled in the framework of Continuum Damage Mechanics. The work aims at assessing the reliability of experimental identification procedures of tensile behavior of FRCCs with preferred fiber orientation in order to address consistent design procedures.

Abstract
In this paper an insight into the problem of the dependence of the tensile constitutive behavior of HPFRCCs on the flow induced orientation of fibers will be provided. To this purpose a dedicated set of experimental tests, recently performed according to a novel testing technique, named Double Edge Wedge Splitting test, proposed by the authors, will be numerically modeled in the framework of Continuum Damage Mechanics. The work aims at assessing the reliability of experimental identification procedures of tensile behavior of FRCCs with preferred fiber orientation in order to address consistent design procedures.File in questo prodotto:
