This paper presents an all-analog signal component separator for a wireless-LAN outphasing transmitter. The proposed circuit derives the two constant-envelope components of the OFDM signal in analog domain at baseband, allowing for power consumption considerably lower than digital implementations. This separator integrated in 0.25-mum CMOS passes all the tests of the 54-Mb/s IEEE 802.11a/g standard, with no calibration between the two paths. The power consumption is 45mW from a 2.5-V voltage supply

Abstract
This paper presents an all-analog signal component separator for a wireless-LAN outphasing transmitter. The proposed circuit derives the two constant-envelope components of the OFDM signal in analog domain at baseband, allowing for power consumption considerably lower than digital implementations. This separator integrated in 0.25-mum CMOS passes all the tests of the 54-Mb/s IEEE 802.11a/g standard, with no calibration between the two paths. The power consumption is 45mW from a 2.5-V voltage supplyFile in questo prodotto:
