A TUTTE LE ORE addresses those who are willing to listen and choose to venture beyond well-trodden paths. To convey the complexity of lived experience—composed of stories, emotions, and intuitions—this volume combines different formats, languages, and registers, bringing together the tangible and the intangible, the analogue and the digital, the visible and the invisible. Academic content takes the form of an almost playful interaction, reminiscent of the exploratory experience offered by children's sound books. This deliberately sensory narrative approach also evokes the dimension of leisure, understood as a space open to experimentation. The project takes shape through three distinct yet interconnected outcomes: an illustrated DIGITAL MAP that explores urban geographies and relationships through evocative images and different temporal rhythms; a PODCAST SERIES in which voices become sound traces, living memories to be listened to; and a BOOK—the one you are holding—which connects the physicality of paper with the space of the spoken word, encompassing not only words and voices, but also silences, sighs, and pauses. After all, John Cage's 4′33″ consists of four minutes and thirty-three seconds of silence, divided into three movements, during which the musicians do not play their instruments but merely turn the pages, allowing breathing, ambient sounds, and the very experience of anticipation to emerge. As Cage wrote, ‘The silence after the music is still the music.’ Here, as in Cage's composition, the narrative unfolds through presences and absences, through sighs and margins, finding its form in rhythm, tone, and presence. This volume is not intended to be read in a single sitting, but rather to be explored and listened to. It does not offer definitive reconstructions; instead, it leaves traces, like small breadcrumbs, scattered signs for those who wish to continue searching.
«The silence after the music is still the music», scriveva Cage.

Abstract
It does not offer definitive reconstructions; instead, it leaves traces, like small breadcrumbs, scattered signs for those who wish to continue searching.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
