The anti-backlash 2K-V gearbox experiences significant power losses due to preload and double-sided meshing, impacting efficiency and lifespan. This paper develops a power loss model integrating non-uniform load distribution, local friction coefficients, bearing loss, and oil drag. Coupling effects between backlash elimination, tooth number difference, load conditions, and power losses are analyzed. Results indicate the small-tooth-difference stage incurs the highest losses, heavily influenced by axial force, followed by bearing losses affected by torque and axial force. Minor changes in tooth number difference significantly affect efficiency. This study offers a foundation for designing compact, high-ratio, anti-backlash transmissions.

Abstract
The anti-backlash 2K-V gearbox experiences significant power losses due to preload and double-sided meshing, impacting efficiency and lifespan. This paper develops a power loss model integrating non-uniform load distribution, local friction coefficients, bearing loss, and oil drag. Coupling effects between backlash elimination, tooth number difference, load conditions, and power losses are analyzed. Results indicate the small-tooth-difference stage incurs the highest losses, heavily influenced by axial force, followed by bearing losses affected by torque and axial force. Minor changes in tooth number difference significantly affect efficiency. This study offers a foundation for designing compact, high-ratio, anti-backlash transmissions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
