We evaluate capacity scaling achieved by ZR, ZR+, and high-performance transponders for short-reach DCI networks under varying span loss, bandwidth, and WDM configurations. High-performance transponders achieve 50% more capacity over ZR/ZR+ when span loss ≤ 31 d B. In multiplexerbased systems, optimizing loading improves capacity by 24.8 Tbps.

Abstract
We evaluate capacity scaling achieved by ZR, ZR+, and high-performance transponders for short-reach DCI networks under varying span loss, bandwidth, and WDM configurations. High-performance transponders achieve 50% more capacity over ZR/ZR+ when span loss ≤ 31 d B. In multiplexerbased systems, optimizing loading improves capacity by 24.8 Tbps.File in questo prodotto:
