The CWA is the result of the work of a special CEN Workshop, CEN/WS 116, which began on September 2022 under the supervision of a Secretariat held by UNI and supported by the Politecnico of Milan as part of the easyRights European project. The document deals with one of the most pressing, and perhaps most compelling, issues of our continent: integration. The CWA provides the benchmarks to improve the quality of reception services for migrants in public services and consequently facilitate the integration of people into our society. In particular, the main issues it covers are linguistic accessibility and information adequacy, parameters that are the basis of a full and real use of human rights. In this framework, the CWA aims to provide the tools to measure these aspects in public services and thus identify both weaknesses and strengths. "Integration in Europe is both a cultural and structural challenge” says Grazia Concilio, coordinator of the easyRights project, “that highlights the biases embedded in the fabric of public institutions. The Mediation Grammar contributes to facilitating the interaction with Public Services, by helping assess the quality of migrants’ experiences.” The CWA is available for download
