This work proposes a methodology for accurate and efficient digitai reconstruction of a man-made landscape. Tue methodology comprises 6 steps, referred to as "skin on the bone on the ground," which involves using various software and data sources to recreate the extemal skin and theoretical shapelvolume of the castle, as well as the surrounding landscape. Tue aim is to optimize the management of environmental and logistica! problems, which include scarcity of data and difficult accessibility of the heritage. Tue proposed model uses a living being as a symbol to represent the relationship between the reconstructed landscape and mother earth. Tue methodology is tested on a case study and involves the use of QGIS, Rhinoceros, and Metashape software, as well as digitai terrain models obtained from diff erent sources.
