The scan-to-HBIM approach is increasingly used to transform raw data from laser scanners and photogrammetry into a digital model. This paper shows the results of the scan-to-HBIM approach of the San Giacomo Church in Como (Italy) in order to obtain a parametric digital model for conservation and restoration activities. Moreover, the possibility to add further information (geometric and non-geometric) over time, allows to use the model also for other future activities.

Abstract
The scan-to-HBIM approach is increasingly used to transform raw data from laser scanners and photogrammetry into a digital model. This paper shows the results of the scan-to-HBIM approach of the San Giacomo Church in Como (Italy) in order to obtain a parametric digital model for conservation and restoration activities. Moreover, the possibility to add further information (geometric and non-geometric) over time, allows to use the model also for other future activities.File in questo prodotto:
