Abstract
PEEC and surface integral formulations are coupled in order to compute Joule losses and currents in the wires composing the shields and in the moisture barriers of the phase conductors of a submarine tripolar cable. The Krylov subspace method BiCGStab is applied to solve the iterative scheme. A good agreement is obtained with brute force FEM simulations, with a dramatic reduction of computational times and memory requirement.File in questo prodotto:
