Eugenio Quarti is a key figure in the history of Italian furniture. This paper deals with his activity and professional network. The case study shows how his craftsman’s workshop was transformed into an industrial factory, and how his relationships with architects, artists and craftsmen influenced the way he staged his furniture in elaborate ways, following the principle of “the unity of the arts”.
