Extended realities, along with other enabling technologies, can improve the way we perform professional and entertainment activities. This paper shows the possibilities of future applications related to the field of sports. These possibilities involve the analysis of different aspects of the project to evaluate the feasibility of the idea: studying the differences between extended realities applied to learning concepts, the possible technological needs that will have to be addressed in the near future and the needs of different users who are within a sports system, who will have to obtain significant benefits at an appropriate cost.

Abstract

Extended realities, along with other enabling technologies, can improve the way we perform professional and entertainment activities. This paper shows the possibilities of future applications related to the field of sports. These possibilities involve the analysis of different aspects of the project to evaluate the feasibility of the idea: studying the differences between extended realities applied to learning concepts, the possible technological needs that will have to be addressed in the near future and the needs of different users who are within a sports system, who will have to obtain significant benefits at an appropriate cost.
