La Comunità e il patrimonio industriale di Anina (Romania). Un processo bottom-up per il dialogo tra passato e futuro

The paper presents the case study of Anina, a former coal-mining town in Romania, where the tangible and intangible testimonies of its industrial past are analyzed through a series of bottom-up initiatives developed within the cultural project “Anina, Mine of Ideas”(2014 – 2018). Besides the research of Anina’s transformation in different industrialization/deindustrialization phases and the elaboration of the revitalization project of its industrial heritage, the project tries to understand the role played by the local community within this complex process. Thus, in 2015 the recording of the collective memory was initiated through an interdisciplinary approach, with the main purpose of tailoring an active safeguarding tool that could include both facets of the built heritage.
