Architecture has an important functional role to create places where people can live and work. But architecture is also a form of art and as such a language. Every architectural choice has a meaning and all this choice put together create a different impact on the viewer. It works as words and sentences and the result gonna be a complex text, read by the eyes of the reader. One of the most important choice made by the designer is about materials and what they can communicate. Large use of similar materials in the story of architecture have loaded with meaning each of them. In conclusion, architecture and materials talk, telling the story from which it was born and which it carries with him.
