The paper present the comparative study of different acoustic metamaterials, with unprecedented features in terms of sub-wavelength ultrawide bandgap, overstepping of passing bands, mechanical tuning of wave propagation. The investigation is carried out through numerical computations, theoretical analyses and experimental tests. The achieved results open new possibilities for the practical applications of such metamaterials as acoustic filters and intriguing themes for future research.

Abstract
The paper present the comparative study of different acoustic metamaterials, with unprecedented features in terms of sub-wavelength ultrawide bandgap, overstepping of passing bands, mechanical tuning of wave propagation. The investigation is carried out through numerical computations, theoretical analyses and experimental tests. The achieved results open new possibilities for the practical applications of such metamaterials as acoustic filters and intriguing themes for future research.File in questo prodotto:
