Abstract
A novel hybrid approach for solving induction heating is presented. The electro-thermal problem is discretized by the Cell Method and coupled to the Boundary Element Method to avoid the air region meshing. A symmetric indefinite linear system, solved by a fast TFQMR iterative method, is obtained for computing time-harmonic eddy currents. The transient thermal problem, weakly coupled to the electrical one, is solved by the 0-method under convection and radiation boundary conditions.File in questo prodotto:
