WHOLE EARTH DISASTERS CATALOG

This design poster was presented at the international contest "agenda global, acciones locales" promoted by the PUCE of Quito in the context of side initiatives at the UN Habitat III International Conference (Quito 17-20 October 2016). The aim of the competition was to ask to researchers from different disciplines a specific point of view about the themes of the UN urban agenda, using the infographic representation tools. This design poster has presented the research path undertaken under the DAAD Disaster city program, promoted by TU Berlin, the Politecnico di Milano and the Pontifical Universidad Catolica of Chile. The manifesto has relaborated of the dymaxion map of Richard Buckminster Fuller , On which are reported, by type, the main natural catastrophes of the last twenty years, with particular attention to earthquakes. They accompany the map, a three-dimensional model of the main geological fault lines on the earth's crust, a series of disaster-related data and a text about the relationship between disasters, risk management, resilience and reconstruction.
