This paper presents the optimized design of microstrip antennas for an experimental rocket designed in an advanced research student program. The considered optimization procedure is the recently developed Social Network Optimization (SNO), based on the emulation of decision making process in social network environments. The experimental results of the rocket antenna design will be presented to prove the effectiveness of this new algorithm. © 2014 European Association on Antennas and Propagation.

Abstract

This paper presents the optimized design of microstrip antennas for an experimental rocket designed in an advanced research student program.
