End stage uremic patients were around 3,000,000 worldwide and continue to increase, involving high percentages of elderly, predisposed to comorbidities. More than 2,000,000 of them were undergoing dialysis, with a huge socio economic impact. Moreover the inter-subject variability in response to similar treatments requires to study online acquired parameters and patient peculiar reaction, in the view of treatment personalization. The automatic collection and management of dialysis therapy related data is crucial to personalize therapies. To this goal, a flexible structured MySQL® database has been implemented, gathering data from four different Italian and Swiss clinical centres. It comprises specific uploading functions for data coming from different models of dialysis machines, blood analysers and body mass monitors. By the performed analyses, a set of evaluable clinical indexes has been studied. The database has been also integrated in a secure web-plaform, allowing nephrologists to easily access shared information on clinical protocol and patients feedbacks.

Abstract
The database has been also integrated in a secure web-plaform, allowing nephrologists to easily access shared information on clinical protocol and patients feedbacks.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
