When building space, wayfinding can be part of the design process, in order to avoid for the space to become a labyrinth. The communication ability of the environments depends indeed on the way in which they are conceived, fitted out and equipped with suitable orienting system. In this context wayfinding is the set of design methodologies for the production of the information that can be identified in the environment and can help users to find their way, without physical and psychological obstacles. This aim can be satisfactorily reached only if the designed orienting system is able to serve the user.
