L’insegnamento come strumento per il recupero dei centri storici: un’esperienza didattica sul quartiere del marais di parigi.

Restoration, preservation and valorization: complex terms to be apprehended already at the scientific level, in international debates with the help of the examples given by the restoration fathers. How being able to let new generations of professionals and researchers understand, interpret and develop these concepts? How to translate this complex exercise from the educational point of view to a diversified audience of students? One bet was to talk about "restoration and preservation" at different scales, starting from the territorial scale and going toward the single intervention, as in the example, here presented, of a workshop carried out by the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech last October, which saw more than 50 international students involved in the study of the Marais district in Paris.
