This paper deals with the power quality analysis after the installation of new lighting systems based on LED lamps. This new technology is promising for its overall efficiency in reducing the absorbed energy and the operating and maintenance costs. In this work a measurement campaign carried out in a real railway station is presented and commented for different lamp and ballast typologies. After that, the recorded voltages and current are analyzed in order to find the harmonic content of the different solutions.

Abstract
This paper deals with the power quality analysis after the installation of new lighting systems based on LED lamps. This new technology is promising for its overall efficiency in reducing the absorbed energy and the operating and maintenance costs. In this work a measurement campaign carried out in a real railway station is presented and commented for different lamp and ballast typologies. After that, the recorded voltages and current are analyzed in order to find the harmonic content of the different solutions.File in questo prodotto:
