In the last decade, molecular principles and pathogenetic factors involved in the development of many diseases have been successfully discovered. Early biological concepts based on reductionistic systemic and cybernetic approaches have been revisited and overshadowed by recent molecular and pathogenetic findings for healthcare safety management. Mid-20th century biological concepts based on systematic and classic cybernetic thoughts fell into oblivion. In 2010, IBM released a study summarizing three conclusions of 1500 CEOs around the world: 1) complexity is escalating, 2) enterprises are not equipped to cope with this complexity, and 3) creativity is now the single most important leadership competency. It is needed in all aspects of leadership, including strategic thinking and planning. We have to take a look to the essence of individual entities and their deeper multi-scale dynamic relationships with their environment, by "new eyes". Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering and Bionics are young scientific disciplines rapidly advancing into the realm of living matter and human beings safety requirements. The static world of the eye-camera analogy is over. The paper recollects some of the fundamental principles that govern how human beings know their world to survive and how they bio-process their information from which they derive their knowledge to grow and prosper. The paper explains what is being proposed into a systemic concept of principles organizing nature for successful healthcare safety management. Their applicability range is so viable, wide and articulated that they can be successfully extended to other Business and HRO application areas, with no performance or economic penalty for effective competitiveness.
