Stare a cielo aperto

Living the city as an opein-air room, dwelling in urban places while recovering the inner complexity of inhabiting: standing, contemplating, staying. From the "sacred enclosure" to the hortus conclusus, from Le Corbusier's penthouse for de Beistegui to the contemporary enclosed garden (Carlo Scarpa teaches, ithers follow the track), the essay explores the urban interiors as real "places of opportunity" inside the city, which could stimulate, touch and involve the people through minimal gestures. offering a seat, a sorce of water, a shelter from the sun, a tree to watch in its seasonal metamorphosis. Compared to the flow of humanity and informations crossing daily the urban reality, to discover and to stand in an open air room could mean to regain one's own humanity. * Vivere la città come una stanza a cielo aperto, dimorare nei luoghi urbani ritrovando l’intima complessità dell’abitare: fermarsi, contemplare, stare. Dal “recinto sacro” all’hortus conclusus, dall’attico di Le Corbusier per de Bestegui al giardino cintato contemporaneo (Carlo Scarpa insegna, altri ne seguono la traccia), il saggio indaga gli interni urbani quali reali “luoghi d’occasione” all’interno della città che stimolino, emozionino, coinvolgano le persone attraverso gesti minimi: offrire una seduta, una fonte d’acqua, un riparo dal sole, un albero da guardare nelle sue metamorfosi stagionali. Rispetto ai flussi d’umanità e di informazioni che quotidianamente attraversano la realtà urbana, scoprire e fermarsi in una stanza a cielo aperto può voler dire ritrovare la propria umanità.
