The text interprets the theme of transformation of the contemporary city through the figures of the 'track', the 'sign' and the 'ruin'. The city itself is interpreted as a written text, formed by interfering levels, corresponding to the different stages of its development. In this sense, the issue of trans-scription of the signs is read as a principle of re-generation of the places, where memory becomes the main material of the project.
