In this paper the strength of the interface between SMA reinforcements and host composite of a hybrid laminated composite, proposed for the lateral horns of a railway collector, will be studied in details by means of pull-out tests. The effect of the geometrical pattern of the SMA sheets and of the texturing of its surface on the load transfer capacity of the interface is investigated.

Abstract
