University students with Learning Disability or Hearing Impairments often face huge difficulties in accessing campus facilities and, specifically, lectures. This paper presents the innovative ICT solutions provided by CATS, a research project aiming to enhance the accessibility of academic opportunities such as lectures. Namely, a note-taking environment (PoliNotes), an advanced spelling corrector/predictor (PoliSpell), an automatic summarization tool (KEaKI), and a device able to facilitate lip-reading (PoliLips) are described.
