The paper presents the first results of a research programme on temporary and mobile systems to exploit renewable sources for a ‘sustainable construction site’. The study deals with different technical and manufacturing solutions suitable to provide a significant use of photovoltaic panels and wind devices for the production of renewable energy on site, to satisfy part of its energy demand. In order to not occupy useful space necessary to the construction firm these systems are integrated with logistic units, temporary works or site equipment. These solutions have been thought mainly owned by the construction firm, easily to be disassembled, modular and reusable, so that they can be used in different interventions. In this way it is possible to obtain, after reasonable time, an economic return of the investment and the reduction of construction costs.
