In many modern applications based on detected radiation measurements, high rate and high resolution are more and more features of primary importance. In this scenario, it is well known that high resolution of measurements and high rate of pulses are conflicting issues, which implies a trade-off between live time of the system and precision of measurements. We propose a digital processing technique based on adaptive filters for maximizing both achievable resolution and sustainable rate.

Abstract
In many modern applications based on detected radiation measurements, high rate and high resolution are more and more features of primary importance. In this scenario, it is well known that high resolution of measurements and high rate of pulses are conflicting issues, which implies a trade-off between live time of the system and precision of measurements. We propose a digital processing technique based on adaptive filters for maximizing both achievable resolution and sustainable rate.File in questo prodotto:
