Wescott House is an historic building, an example of Praire Style, that Frank Lloyd Wright designed at the beginning of XX century. Recently the owner sold the house to F.L. Wright Foundation, that committed the assessmnet with the aim to start the restoration in a short time. The timberframe structure resulted damaged, due to insufficient section, parassite attack, and moisture. The investigation served for documentation and assessment of the damage, furthermore the application of quantitative IR Thermographhy allowed to discover unexpected details of the building techniques and materials that the already gathered historical documentation did not report.
