The South Milan Agricultural Park, although both the Administration and the local Associations encourage numerous initiatives for the exploitation and the promotion of the territorial characteristics, it doesn't benefit from an immediate resonance near the citizens of Milan. This lack of familiarity can be attributed both to the difficulty of visual recognition of the Park when it is crossed, because of the continuous interruption of the agricultural areas due to the urban areas, and to the difficult identification of the park as productive area, since the agricultural zones are individualized as areas to border of the built one or expansion of the city, without recognizing them the aptitude to constitute a precious source of supply directed of the local alimentary products. Gives the lack of green areas inside the city of Milan, the Park constitutes a good place of relaxation, if endowed with the proper equipments for the recreation and the tourism, and an occasion for the farmers of diversification of their activity. The project proposes a unitary and global strategy of intervention for the promotion of the South Milan Agricultural Park. The objectives proposed are: - the “visual” recognition of the park, - the expansion of the park as productive area for the city, - the identification of the park as recreational area for the city, - the recovery of the abandoned or under-used rural buildings. The principal purpose of the present proposal is that to meet in an only project the different initiatives promoted from various administration and associations (EU, Region, Province, private entrepreneurs) in the field of the sustainable development of the environment and the exploitation of the territory of the parks
