The work has been configured as proposal of guardianship and enhancement of the residual of Roman land division (Centuriatio) in the Ager Ticinensis, as well as of the road layouts and the permanence of the historical ducts-canalizations, through the analysis, introductory knowledge and the creation of a geographical information system (GIS). The area of interest is located between Milan and Pavia provinces. The methodological formulation for the development of the research can synthetically summary in three sections: one historical section, one thematic and one related to the analytical investigations to find homogenous parts. The outcome of these studies has allowed to recognize the emergencies of the stratification of the territory, the physical characters and their relationships, with the purpose to protect, to preserve, to valorize them and above all, to document - with a synchronic and diachronic interpretation key - the evolution of the stratified settlement during the centuries. The starting point was the reinterpretation of "Master Plan for the redevelopment, environmental protection and enhancement of areas around the Certosa di Pavia", which is one of the most significant instruments from PRUSST of Pavia which saw involved the Lombardy Region, the Province of Pavia and the municipalities of Certosa di Pavia, Borgarello and Giussago. The goal is to implement this instrument and to create a safeguard natural park around the Certosa, in according to PRUSST, with the water-roads infrastructures in historical site (lines and traces of Roman Centuriatio). The configured Master Plan arises as a tool for strategic planning, whose contents are oriented on the one hand to establish a coherent framework of territory with the aim of safeguarding the monumental complex of the Certosa; on the other, to locate a feasibility path for consistent interventions with the objective of environmental exploitation of the surrounding land (including the protection of signs of Roman Centuriatio), with particular respect to the naturalistic and protected areas and their accessibility with cycling routes.

Abstract
The configured Master Plan arises as a tool for strategic planning, whose contents are oriented on the one hand to establish a coherent framework of territory with the aim of safeguarding the monumental complex of the Certosa; on the other, to locate a feasibility path for consistent interventions with the objective of environmental exploitation of the surrounding land (including the protection of signs of Roman Centuriatio), with particular respect to the naturalistic and protected areas and their accessibility with cycling routes.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
