L'a-rappresentatività del monumento "L'ago, il filo e il nodo"

The article aims to highlight contradictions between architecture and sculpture in contemporary art. In particular it attempts to shed light on how certain works of architecture may be mistakenly perceived as macrosculptures in an urban dimension, while on the other hand some sculptures, such as the Needie, Thread and Knot in Piazzale Cadorna in Milan, must necessarily have a limited durability, given how improbable it is that they should find interested admirers in future generations. Once again the author deals with the subject of memory as it affects architecture, and the contemporary impasse regarding its disavowal. References - M. FUCKSAS, P.
