Abstract
The paper is a brief survey and discussion of the possible use of mathematical programming notions and methods in the context of elastic-plastic analysis by the boundary element method. Similarities to and differences from the traditional combination of mathematical programming and finite element discretizations in structural plasticity are pointed out.File in questo prodotto:
