Abstract
The modelling used in the study of stepping motors is largely concentrated on the analysis of the motor operation. Effectively, the complex electromag¬netic structure of these machines, particularly of hybrid motors, has hitherto limited the development of modelling methodologies with direct design orien¬tation. The present paper shows the application of an energy-based method to the synthetic evaluation of the components of the holding torque. The use of this method is found to be a real help in the design stage. Some examples of the application of this method are shown, demonstrating its suitability for employ¬ment in tbc optimized design.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
