The problem of parallel distributed computation of some commonly found statistical functions is considered. Data are supposed to belong to a horizontally partitioned and possibly duplicated Distributed Database. Results for Homogeneously and Nonhomogeneously Decomposable Functions are shown applied to the case of the most common built-in functions in Information Systems.
