In this work a novel approach to the design of multiplexers with distributed manifold is presented. The filters composing the multiplexer are described through their characteristic polynomials while the manifold network is circuit defined. The design procedure consists in the evaluation of the filters polynomials and manifold parameters. Some design examples are reported showing the performance of the proposed procedure;a fabricated test duplexer has validated experimentally the method.
