Abstract
The increase in design complexity and redundancy of visual information about the context in which it operates, requires the designer to provide tools that facilitate the sharing of complexity, without losing the richness of meaning and opportunity. The knowledge of color is important for the urban scale and the building as a backdrop to human presence, but also has important relationships with the colors of the prevailing fashion trends in clothing, furniture and other objects that populate the city. This study show the need to acquire methodological tools, such as metadesign, to select, among other factors, the color in urban design, influenced by fashion and textile design. Moving the point of view factors from the textile/clothing to demo-ethno-anthropological attempt was made to demonstrate the need for a cross-fertilization of knowledge in which human sciences compared with technical sciences. The color can similarly be considered pervasive (use anywhere and in any case), ubiquitous (available worldwide), regardless of context (when it is positioned freely in the environment), depending on the context (if it fits firmly in the landscape ). In addition, the variability of conditions due to human presence on the urban scene at different time thresholds. And the designer should equip itself with tools for modeling, manage and control of the design variables of color in order to have informed choices and supported by layers of semantic values to be transferred into the project.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
