In this paper an experimental campaign aimed at characterizing the bond performance of FRP strips glued into glulam elements is presented. Pull-out tests were carried out on 49 specimens with respect to the following variables: bond length, FRP typology and direction of the wood fibers with respect to the longitudinal axis of the joint. Based on the experimental curves, the local bond-slip behavior of the joint was obtained and analytical models are discussed.

Abstract
In this paper an experimental campaign aimed at characterizing the bond performance of FRP strips glued into glulam elements is presented. Pull-out tests were carried out on 49 specimens with respect to the following variables: bond length, FRP typology and direction of the wood fibers with respect to the longitudinal axis of the joint. Based on the experimental curves, the local bond-slip behavior of the joint was obtained and analytical models are discussed.File in questo prodotto:
