Remote Fiber Laser Welding is becoming a common solution in many manufacturing applications, such as in Automotive and Energy Industries. However, the high beam quality of such lasers leads to narrow weld beads. Therefore, a wobbling optical equipment and technique is proposed to enlarge the weld bead in Remote Fiber Laser welding while preserving the high energy efficiency of such an high brightness process.

Abstract

Remote Fiber Laser Welding is becoming a common solution in many manufacturing applications, such as in Automotive and Energy Industries.
