Abstract
Design, characterization and limitations of passive linear devices realized in Silicon Photonics are investigated and discussed. Filters and tunable delay lines are experimentally observed in spectral domain and tested in time domain with picosecond pulses and PolDM DQPSK signals. Their potentialities, impairments and critical aspects such as tuning, process tolerances, polarization management and waveguide sidewall roughness are pointed out.File in questo prodotto:
