For the urban planning, considering the seismic risk, different scale levels are required: national and local. Consequently, different data are also required for the two levels: seismic hazard and zonation at the national scale and local seismic hazard at the local scale. The new Italian Technical Construction code has modified also the role of the seismic zonation, so in the paper an update of the seismic zonation and of the procedure for the evaluation of the local seismic hazard are proposed. In the first one a new integral parameter has pointed out to have a better representation of the real seismicity in Italy. For the second one a procedure for the quantitative evaluation of the local seismic effect has been performed to better identify the different responses due to the different geologic and geomorphologic condition.

Abstract
For the urban planning, considering the seismic risk, different scale levels are required: national and local. Consequently, different data are also required for the two levels: seismic hazard and zonation at the national scale and local seismic hazard at the local scale. The new Italian Technical Construction code has modified also the role of the seismic zonation, so in the paper an update of the seismic zonation and of the procedure for the evaluation of the local seismic hazard are proposed. In the first one a new integral parameter has pointed out to have a better representation of the real seismicity in Italy. For the second one a procedure for the quantitative evaluation of the local seismic effect has been performed to better identify the different responses due to the different geologic and geomorphologic condition.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
