The paper deals with a methodology to assess the landslide risk along rivers on the basis of geological and hydraulic conditions, recognized as critical (especially as regards the hydrometric level variation and the shear stress for erosion). As an example, the methodology was applied in the middle Trebbia Valley (Northern Italy) where slopes are characterize by several landslides and the Trebbia River, often braided, curves weak rocks. The study allowed to point out the influence of the River Trebbia erosion on the slope evolution providing a methodological approach to introduce hydrologic aspects into landslides hazard assessment.

Abstract
The paper deals with a methodology to assess the landslide risk along rivers on the basis of geological and hydraulic conditions, recognized as critical (especially as regards the hydrometric level variation and the shear stress for erosion). As an example, the methodology was applied in the middle Trebbia Valley (Northern Italy) where slopes are characterize by several landslides and the Trebbia River, often braided, curves weak rocks. The study allowed to point out the influence of the River Trebbia erosion on the slope evolution providing a methodological approach to introduce hydrologic aspects into landslides hazard assessment.File in questo prodotto:
