Desiccant wheel performances depend on working conditions, namely temperature, humidity, velocity of both air streams and revolution speed. An optimal revolutoin speed that maximizes moisture removal capacity exists and performances can be worse if the desiccant wheel rotates slower or faaster compared to the optimal velocity. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of a control that keeps the desiccant wheel at the optminal rotational speed as function of wheel regeneration temperature.

Abstract
Desiccant wheel performances depend on working conditions, namely temperature, humidity, velocity of both air streams and revolution speed. An optimal revolutoin speed that maximizes moisture removal capacity exists and performances can be worse if the desiccant wheel rotates slower or faaster compared to the optimal velocity. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of a control that keeps the desiccant wheel at the optminal rotational speed as function of wheel regeneration temperature.File in questo prodotto:
